Damn,
I wish I would have found that before I bought my current cooler. That unit "looks" identical to the unit that Bob Teague uses on his motors, and at about a quarter of the price.

Has anyone used one of those bellhousings with the intercoolers built into the rear of it? i think Dana and Mercury make them. I was thinking about buying one but wasn't sure if it would work with my setup.

I was thinking about buying one but wasn't sure if it would work with my setup.I was looking at those. I think they would be great for salt water but for freash water I would stick with water to oil. It's much better then air to oil.
Anyway, how much do those bellhousings with coolers cost? They look like huge $$$ to me.

I'm not sure what they cost. but it looked like a trick way to mount a couple of coolers. I'm having trouble controlling the oil temp and pressure of my BBC and was considering a dry sump system and oil coolers. At the very least, i want to install and oil cooler.
