Well after a year of retirement I have decided to maybe get a job. I have most of my "honey do's" done so I am going to try to get a job at the City while I get my business going. I figure this potential paycheck could further fund my retirement account or a new boat.
Has anyone ever taken the civil service exam? What types of questions do they ask?
The job is basically for a parts guy for the motorpool (didn't feel like working too hard) so I am thinking it may only be grammar, spelling etc....

Well since I retired from the military I can handle that part. :)
I'm sure most of it covers coffee breaks, lunch and being surly to the public. :D
So I need to learn how to read a clock again???? What dictionary will give me some good words for the public contact part of the job???? :)

Usually basic math, reading comprehension, etc. I've taken many. If you graduated High School, you can pass it. :D
