What happened MIKE?!?! I was really looking forward to seeing what came of that "other" project you were looking into! The bottom on that thing did look interesting.
Oh well, it's a lot of money, you're entitled to change your mind a few times! The Force will be cool. That's a big roomy boat, I'm sure you won't outgrow it for a while. You going to get one of their 540 packages or still looking to go to Pfaff/GT/BRE?

Doghouse, I sent you a PM,
I'm going with the GT Performance 540, 650HP Natural. :D
doing a closed bow with some trick stuff underneith for the kids DVD Etc.
I did not have to purchase much extra's due to Force having just about everthing you want already included.
It should be a good 80mph runner. Until I get bord, then it's back to GT Perfmance for Pro-Charger. :D :D :D :D
I can feel summer already.

SM,
Two very good friends of mine own a Force. When Dano promises you the world, make sure you get it in writing instead of saying "cool". Business is business. That goes for delivery dates promised as well. Congratulations on your future ride. You'll be styling!

And yes, as RD stated, it's very good practice, but sometimes tough when you're all excited.

Yes, somehow the salesmen can sense when we're in a moment of weakness and can slip things right past us. Maybe it's the starry look in our eyes or perhaps the drool running down our chins.

Hey Dave, Way to go. Its good to see another Force owner on the boards. Also definitly good advice to get things in writing. I pretty much practice this advice on all big purchases! Im not sure if you were at Force recently or not but I was there 2 days ago. I was never a big metal flake fan but they are bringing the old school back on some of their cats. I snapped a photo of this silver cat they are working on. It looks badass one of the best I've seen. Tell Dano to take you to look at it, it may give you an idea for your boat!

ps: Nice under-dash wiring on that Force, very clean. Makes me want to go home and attack my boat with a pile of zip ties! Unfortunately an upholstered panel can hide a multitude of sins. cry

Hey Doghouse, You Gotta love the open bow on your magic cat. I remember when I first bought my boat my wife wanted an openbow and I wanted nothing to do with it. Fortunatly she talked me into it and I have to say it was a good decision. Its very easy getting in and out of the boat and good for a host of people. I'll see you at the river soon. I'll be there most weekends from april through Oct.

Unleashedclothing (http://www.unleashedclothing.com) I agree; the open bow was something I did not want, but my wife did, and now I would not have it any other way...much more usable space....we had always had a big cigarette boat with a cabin that never got used...just wasted space...it also makes it easier to wipe the boat down, and you don't have the problem of always having to walk on the deck.

You definitly hit the nail on the head. I would hate people walking on my deck. That would irritate me to all hell.

Funny, my wife didn't care so much about the open bow as she did about the midcabin bed for the munchkins. I really wanted the open bow because I knew the kids would dig it when they get a little older... and they already do! You're right about the ease of loading/unloading, makes a big difference. Looks like it's gonna be a good summer, a cat-attack for sure with all these new toys on the prowl...

Playtime thanks,
I've been working with Force for a while and haven't posted due to the possibility it might not workout. Its a done deal, meeting with the gel coater tonight to finalize for taping to start Monday. I'm glad I staked my spot I've got (3) guys behind me in line for the mold.
Thanks Charley,
Its going to be a nice ride even though I'll be behind you most of the time :D
I do think they are going to use Tony for my rigging, but they did pic up a rigger from when Carrera was bought by aftershock, he spose to be real good.

I had to scramble to fing something that would work. I hope i didnt piss off any people in Havasu for taking some of their mailbox numbers.
