My 81' Baja Carerra 22ft has a chev 355 w/ hp and torque @ 330 and 345 resp. Im spinning a 20' alum. prop that is cupped. the hull weighs 2300lbs What is the top speed (theor.) is there is 20 gallons of fuel and 2 people on board? your help is really apprec. Oper. revs are 4400-4850.

If you truly want to know, borrow or buy a handheld gps. This will either give you or take away your bragging rights, but you will have something very accurate to go on. But that 20' prop seems a little on the HUGE side. Are you skippering an ocean liner? Is that a 20" prop or a 20 pitch prop? Post your results when you get it.

Well, not quite. with a 20" pitch prop at 4600 rpm you will barely see 50 mph...using 12% slip. Of course this is only an estimate.
