Hello all. I have been lurking here for quite some time, and figured it is about time I come out of hiding. We were finally able to purchase our first boat, so I figured it is about time I introduced myself. I have already starting showing all the symptoms of addiction to this wonderful hobby, and I suppose it is just a matter of time before full blown insanity sets in!
I already have the itch for more power, but understand I am very limited with the 7.4 MPI LX currently in the boat. The only thing I have done thus far is fix a few minor issues (speedo, and trailer), and install a drive shower. Now I just need to convince the wife that an engine swap is in HER best interest. I think I might have some issues with that one though.
Here are a couple of pics of the "New to us" toy. It is a 1997 Lavey Craft XCS stepped V.

You either need a boat or you need to be a psycho republican that calls everyone you don't agree with a "dem".
By the way... I like Chrysler.

Nope, oposite side of of dam. Got a place in Havasu city, and some friends up in Needles. We usually spend all our time between the two.

Bunny,
how do you know the pilot of the plane that crashed? Obviously lives close by; Sorry for the loss.
A long time friend of my wife's family was skippering the Tall Ship that day.
Sad.

He is a drill team Dad. His daughters have been on my team for 4 years...The family is completely devastated. They have 3 children... We have the family's meals taken care of until the end of the year, I think...We are doing eveything we can for them right now...Sorry for the jack...
