Pump Gas 556's By Mesa

Back a couple of months I took on a project to repower an old race boat I use to build the engines for and has since been converted to a poker run boat the customer was sure he wanted to run on pump gas and when I told him on 89 oct he almost fell back my goal is 700 hp . I got it started yesterday for the first time and made 680 hp and 696 ft lbs I haven't touched the carb or timing yet I've tried a couple of spacers to flaten the torque curve and it has really taken to it here are a couple of pics and I'll keep you up to date on the final numbers today or tomorrow hope you guys enjoy.Sincerely Laz Mesa www.mesabalancing.com
