are talking about batteries, anyone have any luck with the solar chargers? The small panel style ones used to trickle charge.Reason i ask is in my storage unit I would need to boot-leg power for a charger,Im thinking of mounting a small solar panel outside my unit, running it to my batteries

Do they make one for cars as well or just boats? Is there a difference?

Save your self some money these are good units as long as you keep water in the battery and dont try to charge with it when your battery dead, or with a dead cell.
I pick them up when they are on sale for about 6 bucks.

This place a has number of Solar units, make sure it has float capabilities or you will over charge and kill a good battery.
I have been getting about 4 years out of group 24 deep cycles and have 4 optimas that are about 7 years old that someone toss out and I drained and recharged.

Add one of these to your tool box. you will never get to the launch ramp and wonder if your batteries are going to get you started. Worth every bit of the 15 bucks. One of the best tools I have ever purchased.
