I sure hear that story a lot about that "UPGRADE"
Do you have the restore disk?

you should be able to remove it on "add/remove programs" found in the control panel.
did you download sp2 from microsoft or use a disc? if it's a disc how old is it? if you can, try getting all the updates via microsoft before you remove it to see if that helps.

How do I remove it??
396From the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
Use any one of the following methods to remove Microsoft Windows XP SP2 from your computer:
• Use the Add or Remove Programs tool in Control Panel
• Use the hidden $NtServicePackUninstall$ folder
• Use the System Restore process
• Use Recovery Console

If you're running Windows XP you can go to "System Restore" and have the system revert to a configuration at a time in the past. Just choose a date/time prior to you installing the upgrade, and you'll be set.

how much memory do you have? also, some security software can mess with it.

that should be fine. when I built mine it worked fine for a while. then I started to get the blue screen. swapped the ram out . no problems since.
one site I checked, recommends doing a complete virus scan before downloading sp2. is this related to your internet problems on monday?

What's going on....Is everyone having computer problems at home? Mine keeps freezing up and kicking me out of my home page all the time. :skull: Gonna back up my files and do a restore this weekend. Hopefully that will work.
