Fat Mike told me that fuel stabilizers are no good in racegas.
But Fat Mike is a drug addicted alcoholic,, what the hell does he know?
I use Union 76 / conocco 100 octane (unleaded) windex in the quads and my Honda s 2000.
(Believe me my friends, I know I have 100 octane in the tank when I kick my rides in the ass.)
Is stabil/stabilizer any good in race gas?
Does it help when ya run gas with stabilizer in it through the Carburated engine before you drain the carbs and mothball the motor for the season?
Like does it keep residual gas from gumming up the jets and floatbowl???
(even though i drain it and run the engine with the fuel off to get it all out.)
I have questions,,, anyone have the true answer to applications and benefits of fuel stableizers??
Also, bonus question:
Is fuel stabelizer really just auto trans fluid????
OK,, no dead reconing,, what's the real story on stabelizers and their applications????
Does it effect a fuels performance?? Is it snake oil???
Whats the truth??
Thanks.
