Nice boat Steve!!!!
I will take that bet though. Go get the best PRo Gas Flat, Comp Flat or TAF that is a Cole and lets line em up against the best Canyons.
I do think the TR4s are the best looking.

Not to stir any crap but, Im asking if any one knows anything about the molds? I got a E-mail from a friend about this boat being showed at the finals. Are they a splash or from the blood line? I just finished the TR-4 Deck mold to fit my TR-2 bottom. And yea after all the hours I spent rubbin on it think it is the best looking deck. The first TR-6 is going to Dan South which will be running this spring out of Texas. And I must add, DAM FINE LOOKING BOAT GUY'S!!! Like you im just trying to keep them alive...

I talk to a guy in big river that said he moved all the molds from Cole's shop to Havasu. And that he kept the TR4 mold as ransom tell he got paid. He never did get paid and he said he sold the mold to some guy I think in Colorado. Anyway just hear say so just take it as that.

Just curious... would the Canyon factory special handled the Rick Jackson/ Greg Cooper days of Flatzilla. Is'nt that boat a Cole TR4 ??

Geoff,
it would not have been a race. Flatzilla ran consistant 6.90s and some .80s. The impressive numbers were the MPHs. Flatzilla always ran in the high 160 and low 170s. If I were given the choice to trade any Cole for the Canyon I would turn it down. I am not saying the Cole is a bad boat by any means. Westerfield has built a bad ass piece. I am just partial to the Canyon.
The Mako is a haulin ass deal as well.
