Anyone here have experience with them? I am considering them for a big job in my boat.
Do they have a website? Phone?
Thanks.

ShockwaveBob had his last boat done by them. They're just down the road from my work so I see their vehicles all the time... they cound good :D ShockwaveBob's boat sounded great!

I believe ShockwaveBob now works for him. They do incredible custom stuff. People drive from out of state to have him do their stuff.
If you want the best, of the best, take it Wired for Sound.

I have heard nothihng but good things about Wired For Sound. Car Toyz is supposed to be the best place in LHC, same as WFS, only heard good things about them. I personally have used Marks Autosound (http://www.marksautosound.com) and was very satisfied with the work. I'm planning on getting some work done on the boat over the winter and will most likely use Car Toyz simply because the boat stays in LHC.

Hey, That's a cool list I had Darren do a small job in my old Tahoe when he was working in Orange. I thought it was the best work I have seen. :D It was too bad the chevy was a guttless P.O.S. otherwise I could still have my nice stereo system.

I've heard the same about Car Toyz as well, however I am in So. Cal. (OC) and I wanted to go with someone out here. I had heard Wired for Sound had a shop in So. Cal, is this correct?

Transonic. WAS a very good shop from the lsate nineties into early 2000's they did lose alot of their talent and so the level of work that people were used to getting, they are not able to provide anymore, still a decent shop, but not anywhere near highend like WFS or Marks or Al&Eds Ontario.

I have known kenny for a long time.....main problem with his shop is the small bay doesnt fit a boat. which means high end installs are out of the question because he has no where to keep a boat stored overnight. I actually worked that store for a couple years and that was always an issue.

Wired For Sound is the only stereo shop I go too... :)
I have an issue with the last install they did for me (which incidentally was light years ahead of the install that was in the boat previous to them touching it) but I know Adam will take care of it no problemo.. :)
There Customer service is unbeatable.. I would definately recomend them to anyone.

Are their prices higher than they should? I understand paying for quality of work and service, as well as quality components, but I want a fair deal like everyone else.
Anyone have a number for the Temecula store? THANKS.

Its all a matter of opinion I guess. I do know of shops that with a given budget could build a better sounding system. But then again I dont see why people spend the $$ they do for DCB's when there are better built boats out there. ;)

Going off memory here I believe it's 951-696-2200.. If that doesn't work then it's 909 instead of 951.
As with everything you get what you pay for. After the sale service is one of the most important things to me, and WFS has definitely always come through for me and everyone that I have sent to them.. Which is approaching triple digits of people on this board alone.. Everyone that I have sent has always been happy with the result.

that is true his bay is small and he really does need a bigger one my shop is only a couple blocks away so i just picked my boat up everyday and dropped it back off in the morning but i guess some people can't do that

I went to Wired for Sound for a lift kit on an F250. I shopped around and thier pricing was in line with the other quotes I got for equal product (some shops were pricing with cheaper kits) Attention to detail was certainly evident.
Sorry I know nothing about thier sound installs, race boats don't have stereos, but if you can make shockwavebob happy I guess your doin a good job

Chris Yato and Steve Brown were working with me on some stuff a while back for a sponsored vehicle. They are collectively the best in the world I think, and they work as a pair.
Last I saw, they were working on image vehicle stuff with Alpine. Do you know where they are now???

Wired for sound did the system on my last boat. I was more than pleased with the work. I originally had somone else do it, but was not satisfied. I took the boat to Adam and he did an outstanding job. Highly recommend them

The owner of Wired for Sound lives across the street from me. If you don't get the service you want, I can always go over and rough him up....or maybe just turn my sprinklers so they water spot his polished wheels....and let me tell you, Canyon Lake waterspots are like getting poked in the eye with a blunt stick! :D

Wow, a little hatin' on Wired For Sound. Not sure why. I work there. I can tell you this, Adam insists that everything be done top notch, which from my personal experience with other shops, is not the norm. He ain't cheap, but the job is done right and the after sale service is the best I've ever seen. He warranties EVERYTHING, seemingly FOREVER. :D In the last two weeks, I've been out to two different houses to fix "problems", both of which were caused by the customer "accidentally" f'in something up. Who else does that. If you want to see examples of my work, go to the Audio/Video forum and look at my Warlock Diablo threads. Lots and lots of pics.
I didn't know you were working there! That's awsome! We could meet for lunch! hehehe...

Well that is awsome! I'd get stir crazy sitting at home too! I see a cadillac CTS or something that is booming w/ music sometimes getting off the freeway in the morning... who's that? It has wired for sound stickers on it??

I still have my website and I'm still filling orders. I can build clubs at night or on the weekends. It's very easy money. I just really needed to get out of the house. I raised my prices slightly to try and slow it down and maximize my time spent doing it versus dollar made. It's nice because I don't feel like I have to chase every sale.
