Bittersweet weekend for me and the family at Lake Havasu.
1) Took the boat over to drop it off with the new owner.......Tim Alcalde. Congrats! Tim owns a pretty sweet custom paint shop in Chicago... www.alcaldecustoms.com
2) Saw SYA's Commander at the Nautical Sat. morning.......
3) Had a great time at the Parade of lights.......I don't know whether it was good or bad.....First time.....I just know that my arse will NEVER hang that many lights on a boat or anything else......Anybody who did it reading this.....HAT'S OFF to you.....
4) Havasu was fun without a boat....Did I just say that?? Hung out at the Turtle......(drowned my sorrows - consumed a naked turtle with some 151 and a Cadillac marg in about 20 minutes.....then had to watch the old boat cruise out of Thompson's bay), lunch at Chuy's, USC/UCLA game for a while at the room then down to the channel for some carbon monoxide and lit boats....

I talked with Tim & his driver in the bar on Sat. night. He was guarding the owners pouch like gold. I think he likes the boat. :) Sounds like Lake Michigan has a new HOT BOAT. Whats next.

Mike and Tom......Dunno right at the moment.....Something for the family.....Something better for the three day overnights..........May end up with a cruiser and something to ski with......The new Sunsation F4 would work if I had a spare $350K.
Mike.....That's funny that you met Tim......Pretty good guy. He was pretty pleased with his purchase......I think he said he put about 10 hours on the boat on Sat......He was cruising through the channel right before the parade started.......In the dark!! Confident first day boat owner..... :rollside:

It was nice....In the morning..........Got very, very windy in the afternoon....Water was a great color all day.....Wife kept saying it looked like the ocean........whitecaps and all.... :2purples: :2purples:
