I have a 28. Great boat. Love it. Great fit and finish.
New owners of the company should make the product even better.
Let me know what other questions.
Plenty of photos on my site, see link below:

What was the reason for the new owner?

Friend has 2002 Nordic, 28', mid-cuddy open bow. Very nice, well built boat. Excellent detail and rides real good with the HO package. The mid is roomy and can sit 4 easy.

What was the reason for the new owner?
the new owner was already the biggest Nordic dealer, he just now has the whole ball of wax...
Its a good thing for NORDIC Boats...

yes the new owner of NORDIC is going to do some very big things for the company !
We are very excited many good changes are on the way !
Cept the largest nordic dealer did not buy company after all , but the gentelman that did is going to do some great things .
I think there is a story about the change in powerboat mag.
And in my opinion ya we build a great boat .

One thing I like about the 2005+ year model's is that they are starting to look more like a custom boat. Previous to that IMO they were looking more like a production line boat. Although they have for the most part been a well built boat. I hear for a little while there the old owner was building some poor quality boats...

if you are ordering a new boat don't count on it being ready anytime when they say it will be finished, but otherwise a good boat, if you can afford it get the 525, I've spent many years at lake of the ozarks and it will handle the water there great, I take mine out in the ocean and have had no problems

I believe a contractor from CA. ended up buying the business. Kal Kustom did not.
Yes, this is a good thing.
Nordic builds a fantastic boat. Mine is a 2001 and has had zero build problems. A very nice boat with one of a kind looks!

I know the new owner...very nice guy and a very hard worker. He owns Prime Marine in Rancho Cucamonga, and owns a framing company with his brother....:) :) Good things to come for Nordic! :p

I heard the same as bunny. Nordic was never bad, but now should get much better. Waiting for the LA boat show, heard something surprising will appear.

When's he starting on the new Flame?
:rollside:
By the way, I have been very pleased with my Heat. I've only had it two years but haven't had any problems.

At the boat show we can only hope to see the 43' that has been in the works for well over four years now, or the 26 cat that has been played with for the last two.
Either way, a new Nordic would be cool to see!
And Lonnie is a very cool cat!

I would like a 525 efi but the better deals so far have been a couple year old boat with a 496 or a 500 efi.
I want a 500 efi in a used or a 525 in a new
