Classic 1981 Nordic Jet Boat with Original Tandem Trailer. Original gell coat with wood grain look inserts and the original interior. It is powered by a recently rebuilt 1991 4-bolt main 454 Chevy(+.30 over) Big Block with large oval port heads,a Berkeley 12 JG Jet Drive. Chrome Bassett water cooled headers get the exhaust out.Twin side mounted fuel tanks. Gel coat still very nice but could use a buffing. A few very minor chips here and there but no cracks anywhere. The hull has a trailer gouge on the keel ( see pics ), but nothing major. All deck hardware in good shape. Guages all work and light up. Windshield has no cracks ( amazing ) but it is not as clear as new. Seats have original covers on them and are very nice and still super pliable. Carpeting is original and very nice also. Steering cable good but shifter cable will need to be replaced at some point. Still works but plastic cable housing is weathered. Engine starts up and sounds great. The jet drive appears to be in great shape with new impeller. Chrome headers look nice on the outside but have surface rust in areas that you can't get access to polish. The trailer is very nice with buddy bearings and newer tires on original wheels. Tows real nice. It also has a nice winter cover. 8k delivered to most place's or will meet halfway? Boat is in St.Louis MO.314-368-2808

I would take the bow rail off. Overall nice looking boat, but not my style.
I did not see a price!

I'm running that same boat (without bow rail) right now--in fact I saw yours go through ebay a couple of months ago. I bought mine about 3 years ago for $7,000--BBC/Dominator/PD. I like it because it is a good compromise--runs more like a 18' jet than a 21' cruiser in terms of acceleration and top end, but has more space, leg room, and better rough water ride. Top speed was about 60mph. Improved to 65 with the addition of an EFI last summer, and hoping for more with headers and reprogrammed system this spring. It'll never be the fastest boat on the lake, but it surprises almost everyone. I run into a lot of 18' jetters who are interested in moving up to this style hull when they see it run, so I don't think you'll have any problem getting that price.

What happened, I thought this boat sold on Ebay. Did the guy flake, or did he not meet a reserve.

If you keep it try tossing the Carb And the HEI Distributor
Looks sweet though
The HEI is Probbaly Killing The possible power that the 454 is able to make due to limits of the RPMS
