 Just to let you all know, Bobby Mills of Dearfeild Beach Fl. has bought my black TR-2. I'll be doing most of the rigging over the next month. I'll post pics as I can. For you that dont know him, hes a top driver on the east coast. He races with the IHBA in TE&PE. He also owns and operates Speed-N-Sports Marine service here in Florida. If you ever need Bobs help I encourage you to call him. Hes a great guy to deal with on and off the race course.

Yes with the help of Bobby Hewitt and Dan South's creative thought they will be very distinktive. I have two very "ANAL" guys like myself that will not settel for anything less then the best.Dans perfectionest ways has really been helpfull. And with a master like Bobby Hewitt to fill in the blanks I feel very confident.I must exstend my thanks to Dan And Bobby Mills for steping up to the plate. And for me It's a honer to build these two as"anal" as me "In a good way" boats. Dan met met over fifteen years ago, back when I was teamed up with Florida Hydro's. I was building John Hippwells and Robert Gates first capsule boats. Dan did'nt even own a boat back then. And after all the years he rememberd me when he needed help. This last July at Augusta I asked Dan "How the hell did you remember me"? Truth is he stumbled on Dragboatcity and remembered my name, the rest is history.... I know we as a team will leave our mark next year... With two "NO HOLDS BARED" guys like them I cant loose...
Mike .... Dan I still have to ask??? WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING"???

:) Just a quick update... Bobby is taking it home today. He came up to O-Town Friday to help do some of the rigging. Randy Renolds also brought his years of "know how" to my shop and helped us. Even had a visit from Dan South and a bunch of trick parts for the project. We installed the strut, drilled the shaft hole, installed the shaft log and mounted the v-drive. Also cut and installed the cav plates and the nessesary stuff to control them. Bobs hoping to get it wraped up in a few months. I'll get some pics up asap.

Shane, All I've done is fit check some of the hardware on the boat. The cav plate hardware that I had made for the other boat that I got from you guys bolted right on. And I thought what are the odds of that...And then I remembered that the hardware that you guys took off of the black boat had originally come off of the TR2. So of course it fit. I bought a nice polished v-drive for it yesterday, and I picked up a blown 468 for it. My brother is buying the boat from me and wants to put it together as soon as possible. I was going to flow the floor. But I guess we will do that next year. How is your new boat coming? I'd like to see some pics of it as you get it done. Tell your dad Thanks again for getting the boat to Florida.

Anyone that had even been around a red-head knows it does not take alcohol for them to show their spiteful side.

Unfortunately, anywhere outside of CA, or AZ, you have to deal with rain. I would hate to polish all that hardware all the time. I can see why he would do the snap deal. It still sux though.
