C, G, & E are all good. c's are probably the most sought after but ive seen e's and g's turn out good #'s in the right hands.

Do not use the stock aluminum rockers. Go with rollers or at least the stamped steel rockers. At high revs the aluminum ones will wear unevenly thereby changing lift ratio on your valves. Mine varied from .010 to .025 per side on each rocker.
Grind off the A.I.R. bump in the exhaust port, block the crossover, replace valves with large SS Ferrea valves and hardened seats. Cheap fixes for stock Olds heads.

We are in the west Phoenix,AZ. area and build lots of OLDs motors for boat, street and drags. ALL machinework is done in house, including flowbench, sonic, and wet and dry Magnaflux. Also have some used HP parts reasonable. I used to run a couple of Olds street/strip cars and 2 Olds boats too. Call if we can help. TIMINATOR 623-877-8553
