working up on a radio site at about 8000', I decided to take a hike and see whasssup. it was just like Christmas Vacation, angels singin n shit, there it was: the top half of abouta 20' tree that was callin Clarks name (ok, I'm 4 goose n cran in here) the slope was so steep I could reach to about 10' up, so I cut the top half off. I know I probably should have pulled a permit, but I was there, whaddya think?

I had to drag this 11' mutha up about a 100 yard uphill to my excursion, it barely fit, and took me the rest of the afternoon to get it home and set up.
Thus begins the last Christmas in my home of 17 years....

That is a nice tree. It seems to have taken you just as long to do all that as it does to put up my wife's fake tree.

Thanks Dale! Hopefully I will see you guys between Christmas and NYE somehow, but same to you, hope your holidays are awesome. I am mailing my mom back to the sis in Ohio, so she will get some of that weather!

thought about, no seriously. you popped into my head and I said to myself. "self, you should get HER one" but there is only so much room in an excursion full of tools and climbing gear...

Can't say! somewhere in the Angeles Crest range. I did not kill the tree, cause the there is still more than ten feet left of it :boxed: But I am sure they would not like me cuttin it without a permit, so it was a hike and I felt confident I wouldn't get caught. PM me I'll tell ya
