Does anyone have any first-hand experience with predator carbs? The concept seems good, and they are supposedly easy to tune with large flow capabilities. I'm looking at buying a pair for my engine combo (468 w/8-71). Any thoughts? Thanks

I Have heard that they work great on pulling trucks. I have heard they don't work for street driven cars or boats. Poor part throtle mixture control. Have you tried the HOLLEY HP carbs?

Jester: They work great on blowers. In fact that is the best application for one. Good advice given for purchasing the idle circuit. In addition to that, buy the higher capicity fuel bowl. They only have 1. Throttle response is incredible. I think they flow just over 900 CFM. Depending on the blower size and overdrive be sure to get the correct size carbs no matter what brand.

Ihave run and still do Pred's they work great, the simplest thing in the world, 390-930 cfm depending what the motor wants, simple to get set.The web site has a down load for them w/ all the info.Hammer the "Flying Tiolet" is a fuel inj. set up and I hear they work good too, in cars don't know about boats though.
