Bye Jake Hello New Puppy

Thanks for all the kind words and support when we had to put JAKE (http://www2.***boat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97194&highlight=jake) to sleep.
Tha family wanted what I have always called a shit dog LOL. A tiny lap dog. but that is what they wanted to transition from grieving for Jake and starting over. Recently my friend Shafty sent me an Oakley team shirt for helping them win the top fuel funny car championship so the puppy's name is Oakley. :)
Yep this is him 10 weeks old.
Yep he's on the coffee table.
Yep the coffee table is made out of a drag slick from Tim Wilkerson's top fuel funny car.

Dogs need to live longer, One of the guys who works for me just got a call from his wife that there lab died, he was 16 years old but Keith is really taking it bad and we don't go home until tuesday so he won't even be there to bury him.

Hey Info, I missed the thread about your dog passing on. My condolences. We just lost our 18 YO cat and it was pretty rough.

VERY SORRY to hear about Jake. We've had to put down 2 Goldens in the past 4 years and 2 cats...we've only 1 Golden left in the house and he's a riot!
The cool thing about Jake was that, I would bet my next paycheck, he was waggin his tail, his eyes were lit up with that sparkle only a Golden can have, and he was telling everybody to quit worrying and be happy about the moment because life is good!
Pets will make mush out of men.

Info, I read your other post with regards to jake. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. To be quite honest I actually started tearing up. I'm very close to my dog as well. :(
