given the amount of extra weight used in the capsule addition, is that boat
competitive still?
story said built in 1992.... is that boat still being raced? retired?

A friend of mine just picked it up and he's taking the capsule off and putting a new deck on it, it'l be a river toy!..

Bob Bode had a bunch of K and PS capsule flats. None of them were super fast (his boats were faster when he ran them open). He is running a part time Top Fuel Funny Car deal now. He was always a pretty cool guy when I met him. His last full year was my first. He barrel rolled the boat in the picture at Richland, WA (I think the same year Gordy got hurt) and I heard he did not even know that it went over. He landed flat and kept going.

Well we started cutting the top off last night. Before we put the carbon fiber top on it we are going to do a little bit of work to the bottom half of the hull. The hull is a little weak and could use some carbon fiber reinforcement.
