Lookig for a single 500efi or 525efi in a under 30' boat.
So far I like the Nordic 28 and the Sunsation 28
What is the better boat?

Your not going to beat Sunsation for customer service as far as which is better it depends on what kind of boating you do.

Most boating will be Kansas lakes with 1 to 2 foot chop and midsize boat traffic and the rest of the time at LOTO in MO.

Sunsation! Nordic makes a nice ride but not as nice as Sunsation and there are a million Nordics around and they all have the same graphics.

Hallett 270 but if your going to go Nordic I would wait and see what new changes the new owner will be making Randy Davis just bought Nordic. He is a very successful framing contractor which owns a boat company cyclone in Australia. And part owner of Prime Marine also owns a ski race team.

I knew it would happen on the first page, but I didn't expect it in first 6 posts! LOL.
I'll complete the list,
"Try an Ultra!"
"You should look at the Advantage"
"I love my Magic"
"You should check out Lavey"
"Have you looked at the Shockwave?"
"You should consider an Eliminator, I love mine."
"Did you check out the Danas?"
And, our personal favorite, (Sorry, Deb) "Have you looked at the Kachinas? We love ours." :crossx:

Cobra, Don't forget Cobra. One of the fastest 29's with 525 EFI and it handles rough water. Read Powerboat this month and you'll see what I mean.

in a lake 1-2' chop you can't go wrong with either of those choices...
If most of your boating were in the great lakes or ocean then I would say Sunsation hands down.
They are both nice boats, somewhat similarly priced, look at both in person and see what fits you better

NORDIC hands down.
Love my 28 Heat.
Not many in Kansas or LOTO -- so you'll stand out.

I have never heard anything bad about either brand. Both are great looking boats. I think that Nordic has a wider beam and might be roomier. I don't think you can go wrong with which ever one you choose

It's all tongue in cheek. We all have done it. I just always find it funny.
BTW, I forgot to mention Commanders in my previous post. You can find some good deals out there on them :D

At the risk of "Flashing Over", we chose the Dana 27' after driving the others out there. Much more "bang" for the buck. IMHO.

Have you looked at Kachina??? You could have your picture on the side of the boat surrounded by pigs, surfing aliens, chicks with fat necks, and dragons. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

If I planned on doing much boating in LOTO I would choose the Sunsation.
Havasu rough water does not compare to Lake of the Ozarks rough water.

been on both, both ride nice, but the cabin on the Nordic is down right huge for the size boat...

Ya all salesmen crack me up!
Between the two I'd opt for the Sunsation. IMHO its once of the nicest 28'ers around.
