I wanted to create that new-boat look. Or would this not work on a typical 18' boat anyway?
Kinda like this:

Definitely not for the 18 ft jet boat, try a barrel seat or short bucket seat. they are a lot cleaner look IMO.
Sleek
Could you point me to some examples of what you are talking about?
BTW i just found this site....He makes building the seats look easy

From what I heard, Kim hansen knows where to get high back buckets. I would recomend not going that route. You can build a set that looks similar but keep the profile low.

are these barrel seats?if so pm some pics or info
Im in GA. I have no idea how much a full interior will cost. Right now it just has buckets in the front. No back seats.
This is currently what it looks like:
Im not feeling the paint job but I probably can get by like it is for the upcoming season.

AH don't listen to all of these guys! I think jegs sells those plastic high back seats real cheap. the plastic would not only be strong but water resistant too!!!!!!!!!!!high back all the way!
if you have any wood working skills at all, the seats are pretty simple to make. I made a complete interior for a boat I had a couple of years ago that came out great. After building the seat frames, I covered them all in fiberglass. I doubt those seats will be coming apart anytime soon.
Before getting the high backs, you should unbolt your existing seats and raise them up about a foot. That will give you an idea of what it will look like with the seat backs up higher.

to hell with the broads lol...i want the boat...that things gotta fly! 100+ easy...i personally think he should leave his seats alone...they look good...put some cushions behind the seats & spend the money on the paint job

Id have to do some measurements to see how it would look,I dont want them sticking up too much, I just want that hold-on-to-your-ass hightech rollercoaster look. oh well.
