Trailer Winch

Hey all, I'm thinking of adding a winch to my trailer. The current setup has no winch, just a floater bar. Anyways, what size (rating) winch do I need? From my research, the 1400lb seems pretty common. My boat is a 20'6" Caliber 1 SKR. Also, where is a good place to purchase one?

I would atleast get one with a rating the matches the weight of your boat. :idea:

I just checked in one of my catalogs and it's recomended that the winch be rated at half the max weight of the boat...
If you have a 2000 lbs boat, you would need at least 1000 lbs winch...
