Thought I would share this one with you all. Couple buys a new ski boat. Take the boat to the lake, launch it and take off. A soon as they get out of the 5 mile an hour zone they give it full throttle and cant get it up on to plain. Just wont go. So they call the place where they bought the boat. Explained what was happening. Finally they agreed to send out a tech to the lake to check out the boat. THe tech arrives and the first thing he noticed the boat was sitting very low in the water, upon his inspection, he find that the couple did not take the boat off the trailer and was out on the lake with the trailer attached to the boat.

I've heard this one before. I can only hope that it's true, as I revel at the idea that people are just that stupid, but it's probably one of those damn urban myths.

The best boating story I've heard involves someone from this site, forget who, and a launch ramp in Parker and their dog. But the dog is not invloved in a Cottonwood Cove kinda way If you know what I mean.
