Quite true, but I've been riding them since I was 7 yrs old and it's just way too enjoyable. Most of my time has been off-road, and I really don't like riding in a city (paranoia about getting greased), but the open highway is the place to be on 2 wheels, no big fairing, wind in my helmet (no shower shoes either).
