Next step in boat rebuild is to put on the new rub rail sticks. Any suggetions on how to make the bends around the corners of the stern?
Thanks!!

I have done a number of them over the years and have found that if you start on the bow and center the first stick, Then screw down one side and support the other side with a ladder then use a heat gun and heat the bend area and you will feel the material starting to give, When you feel it starting
to bend use a helper to keep pressure on by pulling the free side around, The
trick is to use a piece of wood or the wooden hammer handle and push the
lower bend area flat as you are bending.
Set the side on the same as the bow and mark and cut at the center of the
transom.
Im doing a 26 scarab and a 30 Wellcraft this weekend.
