I just rebuilt my pump and put in a new legend B impeller with a shouldered wear ring in my Berkley 12JF pump.
What is the correct tolerence to shim to?
I am currently at .023 by feeler gauge from the front of the impeller to the flat lip point on the wear ring. Seems fine but just wanted to check.
Also I took out 4-packing rings from the old pump, but my new kit had 5.
How many is correct?
