Thank you, not real happy with the metallic black cherry color - just didn't seem that dark when we mixed it.
Happy New Year to everyone!
Now to decide whether to rebuild the kona or the sanger.

Nice work. I'm betting that the black cherry will look more cherry in bright sunlight. By the looks of it, you'll be able to go run it. A little damp but no snow?

nice ride naval officer!
on the paint thing, base -clear is easier to make look nice.plus with base its easier to remove taped out graphics or flames.with single stage you gotta pull tape fast!i like to single stage bottoms because it seems to adhere good, and on top i use base colors with few coats of clear.i lika shiny stuff!i'm a novice painter and base-clear is very forgiving.

is there a reason you chose those exhausts?

NavalOfficer

No reason, the exhaust came with the boat. Will probably upgrade if I see a deal on something better.

I have seen logs set up like that alot in the northwest, always wondered why?, I like conventional headers for obvious reasons and also like the safety of through transom logs.....together, they seem to cancel the benefits of each system, just wondering.........good job on the boat....Vic
