I don't have a clue. On my Allison there is aluminum uner the seats to mount them to. Maybe something along that line.
Is this the one I saw somewhere for sale in Chandler?

you all have a answer for every thing but i ask a simple question and all you professors are out to lunch or you aren't so smart after all? Why are you all hiding under a rock or is it because you don't know sh-t?

You probably have some one off creation as i doubt Elim did it.Just get it running and bring that biatch out to firebird for the world finals in November, since it is in your back yard  you can run the river racer class depending on what power you got, hope to see you there

I seriously doubt it was built that way. It was probably just someone's idea on stiffening up the boat, or closing up the old hole if it was originally a jet. Just check the bottom and transom really well to make sure that it wasn't a patch for a poor repair, and run it!

Hell that hull was made when most of these younguns was in diaper. If you really want an answer to the boat question why not call the manufacturer ? Ask a question about a motor and I personally guarantee you will get a straight on answer.
