Well this Sunday is a gathering at Alder Lake.
From what I heard some will be at the Snohomish River, others Columbia....but it sounds like many people are sticking close to home this Memorial Day weekend...

where is alder?????
Alder Lake is a 3,065 acre reservoir behind Alder Dam. It is located about 30 miles south of Tacoma between the towns of Alder and Elbe, also near Eatonville.
Here is the link, it's operated by Tacoma Power.

There is a great campground there as well. Very beautiful.

We put in at Rotary Park in Lowell. We cruise from Everett to Snohomish usually. Beautiful smooth water, hardly ever any rough stuff to beat you up. A few snags to watch out for once in a while, but usually not hard to spot. There are 2 or 3 nice sandbars to party on as well.

Going out to the folks place in Oregon, but it will be a boatless weekend.

Ditto here. Saturday trip, proably spend the night where ever I tip over then drove home Sunday morning with a hang-over. Ultra Compulsive, 1975sleekcraft, 1978 Rogers, wanna make some temp plans for an O-dark thirty breakfast ? Maybe North Bend ?

I'd be up for that. I'm still on the fence on the weather.

There's a small caravan heading over to Blue Lake, A.K.A. wind city, however we've never had wind issues on Blue on Memorial. Big Fat & Moist Joyce, The Midget and some chick, Teeder & Bobbie, in the Peter, 'Cuda W/son, Goin' Owen & Deanne, The Assasin & Prissy, and Me & the war Dept. Looks like 7 boats so far, oh ya, Jetster Jeff may come over, and try out Lyle's Jetster 850, if he falls in Love he'll buy it. Master Seargent Fisher will be there in his world famous coach, with co-pilot Judy. We're heading out around 6:30 A.M. Fri., running I-90. I got the trailer back last weekend, so all week, I've been on it after work, just got the boat back on, so we're goin' no matter what the weather is. That's how it is from here.

I talked to Tony just a little bit ago, he was launching his boat and wearing shorts !!!!!! I'll talk with him again tomorrow and see what it's looking like. Have fun Matt and be safe....never mind, I forgot who I was talking too :rollside: .
