I just picked up a 88 commander. Took it out for the first time and it runs great however; the pump cavitates every time I turn sharp in either direction. this is my second jet boat I have owned and all of my buddies have jets and have never experienced this. The boat is 21' open bow with a Berekely JE pump with an 8" HTP nozzle, ride plate with shoe kit. I just ordered a top loader to see if this helps. I just ordered a top loader to see if this helps. Someone told me I could try a pre-loader. Any help would be great
