I've been kind of looking for a tunnel hull jet with some room inside. I found a possibility out on ebay, and I believe this same boat was up for auction about a month ago.
It is a 23 foot Obsession. I tried searching the Internet, but the word obsession pulls up all sorts of junk. The hull looks pretty heavy, but that maybe incorrect. It looks similar to a Liberator. Does anyone know any good info on these boats.
Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Mud, Obsession went out of business in the mid to late 90's. They were bankrupt. They were in shawano wisconsin. The shawano location was formerly a eliminator facility.Eliminator severed its ties with the wisconsin facility and sold it to the owner of obsession. They had many of the moulds from eliminator and many previous eliminator employees also worked for obsession. Eliminator was not concerned about the moulds from what I was told.I would assume they are well made. Poor management and lack of industry knowledge led to it's downfall.I believe the workers who made these boats were skilled and took pride in their work. When obsession went bankrupt, some stuff was liquidated and I purchased a mould for a 19ft v hull for a very reasonable cost. A boat dealership called American Marine now occupies the old eliminator/obsession facility. The may be able to give you more information.I do not have their phone number, the area code is 715 if you want to call information. The town is pronounced Sha-no. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the good info.
This boat for sale is in Michigan, which makes sence if they were built in Wisconsin. I believe it would be about half the cost of an Eliminator of equal size and comparable year. I might just have to take a drive and check it out this weekend.
Thanks again.
