I had to remove the original swimstep when I installed the diverter on my Spectra 20.
I used 4/4 mahogany planks, sanded, routed and shaped. Bolted to the original brackets. The wood is left unfinished, except for Teak Oil treatment. Didn't turn out too bad, if I do say so myself.

looks good boat cop. one little thing you may want to consider though is rounding the corners off a bit. those pointed edges can cause some serious pain if you were to slip and hit em, or swim right up into it and bonk your head. just a suggestion man.

Do you still have the swim step? I've been looking for an original Spectra swim step for my Spectra 20.

Sorry. It's already spoken for.
If I hear or see of any others around, I'll let you know.
