Is it possable to locate a boat through the CF#

As some of you know I'm searching for my dad's old Laveycraft Flat. I have pictures that show the CF #'s. Is it possable through DMV to locate a boat through California's records? Have any of you guys done this?

it is possible to get info on the last registered owners address but if the boat has been out of the system for a while [ I believe the system back dates 8 years] it can be a little diffacult. good luck

Here are a couple pics of the boat. They are kinda blurry being that they were taken in '71 and then uploaded. I have a couple that the CF #'s are clear yet the last letter is off camera. They aren't really worth posting since they were just captured in a backround shot.
If anyone reccognizes this boat, please let me know (wishfull thinking I know)
