View Full Version : to paint or not to paint
:220v: i fixed the hole i put in my boat but have no clue if i should paint the hole boat top to bottom and miss most or all year. when i say all year im taking it down to old paint or just seal the fiberglass and do it this winter it would look like shit but my wife is no help :argue: soo i thought i would ask u guys for some help. :220v:

Get out the rattle can, paint a big Band-Aid on it and cruise for the summer. :cool:
i just have to trim the bottom :)

i agree...trim it & primer the fix & forget the "ego"...go have fun for the summer!

idont think primer will hold up all summer so maybei will go to the local paint shop and pick up some single stage paint + primer in spray can formula.

Krylon Fusion is pretty damned tough. Buddy of mine has satin black on his bike and it's lasted fo 4 years now and still looks decent.

Seriously , Dont let the paint keep you from getting on the water . Primer the sum bitch . If it goes bad , primer it again , and keep primerin the fookin thing till your good and ready to do the whole thing. GIDDER WET !

its as good as done
u can spray some clear over the primer...that will seal it!
