I'm finishing up my fuel lines for the mechanical injection and I was wondering if any of the experts here have any input on the following set up.
500CI BBC, w/871, 12#'s boost, intercooler, Enderle Birdcatcher
Two side tanks w/-12 bottom feed lines to a T, -10 out of the T to a Clay Smith mechanical pump, -8 to a 2.5 gal bullet tank, -8 "overflow" out of bullet tank to side tank via -8x3/8's npt fitting, three by pass lines into top of bullet tank, one -12 supply out of bottom of tank to Enderle 80a pump.
Is the -8 in and out of the bullet tank adequete to supply the -12 feed and prevent overflow?
Could there be any problem with putting a -3 T fitting at the current supply T to feed an electric "starter" pump only?
What type of check valve would be best for the -3 starter fuel line to the nozzle and do I need to filter this line separately?
Can I attach a main line fuel filter directly to the mechanical pump it's a billet filter with -10 in and out?
Is a vent on one of the side tanks only enough to properly vent the system?
