View Full Version : Finally got some speed #'s.....

Well I finally found out how fast my boat is going currently. A friend GPS'd me at 75 MPH !!! Not too bad considering I've still got low compression heads and only one carb (a vacuum secondary 750). Over the winter I installed a much larger ride plate from ST, small loader grate, and a small droop. Other than that just a stock Sanger Custom Sprint w/ OT Bassett's. I'm pleased with that number for now, but as the disease goes, I want more !

THANX John !!! It does indeed make me happy. Tony Skagen told me it went pretty well, but I was surprised it went that well ! There's still hope for you n Malcolm, just read my sig....LOL !!!!

Thanks BudLight, the quest never ends as I'm sure you know. BTW, met your daughter on Sunday, but it was a very quick meeting. The boat she was in had electrical troubles. Hopefully she can make another meet or two so she can get some more seat time...sink that hook in deeper :rollside: .
