CFW Questions???

Hi guys, being a girl I have a couple questions about
CFW. It's been 2 years since we were there last and I
can't remember some stuff.
1. do we need reservations. And if so, who do we call?
2. The bathroom that is upward... does it have an outlet?
3. Is anyone doing a potluck?
4. Are the spiders as rampant in the winter as in the summer?

Jim, if you can get over to So Cal, either to the LA area or to Bakersfield you can ride the rest of the way with me. I haven't made up my mind as to taking the old Tahiti, but Sangerboy and his group may be taking 3 boats, depending on the weather forecasts.........I've never been there and will probably try to caravan with others from down south and/or Az. I think it would be cool to cruise in with a bunch of south western boats all at once........Ray

I don't know much but here is what I do know.
No you don't need reservations. It's $23 a night to camp.
There is no electric, water, hook ups. I can't remember which
way it is, but I'll look to make sure.
We are leaving Havasu at 4am. It would be great to meet
somewhere.
Town is not to far, I think less then 20 miles.

Traci, I spoke with Jim last night. He is looking to ride with Scott and needs to contact him. I would guess you're coming out the 40 to the 58 to Bakersfield then north on the 99. Seems like a good place to meet, the 58/99 junction. I'll stay in touch thru the next couple of weeks and try to nail down an approx. time, as well as who else is pulling north from the greater LA area......Ray

I arrived last night, rained all night. Supposed to clear thursday. Showers predicted friday thru monday. I am staying with a friend who lives 1mi. from CFW. We are both boatless at the moment. Friend Andy is waiting on a new 501 from Bitz and I,m restoring a twin turbo Dimarco 21. Anyone is welcome to leave a boat at the house but they should be quite safe at the lake. Wasn't that something last Father's Day? First I was kinda pissed (like I have been in years past)...then I had a few drinks and was able to sit back and laugh at the idiots. Butch had a great idea. Weather for Sunday looks good, this storm thats hitting us now will be out of here in the next couple of hours and will not return until late Sunday afternoon or evening. Out driving around out of El Dorado Hills , very bad. Creeks are full, S. Fork American raging. Waiting awhile to leave, creek is full in back, if it gets any deeper the boat in the garage will be surrounded with water. I'll just start it up and head it towards CFW !!! If not today then maybe CFW tomorrow. The roads leading in to CFW may be under water, anyone know the conditions yet ?
