Looks like our member "Well Done" is a maniac. I took these pics when he was gassing it up. That dude needs some serious help. 1,100 HP in a 23' tunnel boat? Typical Okie.

Info- you Okies know how to do it up right! Looks great. Pump gas, eh?
What kind of drive? Propped yet? How's the boost?
BTW...I don't see a beer-can BBQ in the boat. Do you throw one in with every engine?

LOL we were just talking about the beer can grill yesterday.
Fininshing touches today. Maiden voyage tomorrow. Will probably end up with an XR or B-max drive. For now nurse a stock 1.5 Bravo. 32 prop on hand will not be enough. Enough to get it out to work out whatever small bugs pop up.
Voluntarily cleaned up the topic title.

Alright added the outdrive. Took the rope off.
Sure sounds cool.

Info,
That looks very nice. I'm sure your motor will haul a$$ in that boat. Ours will be done soon. Been a long hard road to recovery for this one. Redesigned alot of the front end and finally installed the seats yesterday, thanks to Warlock. my new pics are on my websites photo gallery.

Steve - Tried to get you at the shop. Need a prop ASAP. Only have a 30p Bravo prop for today. Not nearly enough.
Headed out in a 1/2 hour or so.

245-1222. I'll be here awhile. Steve - need lots more prop. Ran out just after getting into the secondaries. did not let it go past 6,000 RPM Did 98 on the GPS 1.5 ratio drive 30 P Bravo prop, Plenty of throttle left.
Will need lots more. Anything in stock we can try? Did not try to free it up with trim. Will do so after getting enough prop on it

Hey info, did you guys get the boost deal figured out?Did you put back on dyno or no?What is your static comp? That boat is going to haul some ass when dialed in,you need to find out what htm is doing to the drives, seems like they hold up?

Infomaniac

They do not have a web site. Not in this century yet. It is not a full time thing. He will build a few boats and stop for a while.
Cannot load the engine enough to see boost until we get the right prop on it. Only had 1 shot at the dyno. We will for sure get it up to 12 where it needs to be. Compression is 7.5:1
I have considered buying them minus engine and drive - putting quad engines and XR drives on them and selling guaranteed 120+ MPH boats for 80 - 85K.

Decided to put 1.36 gears in and buy a 34 prop. When the drive is upgraded will have the right prop. Will be ready mid week next week.
