Do you have a single step or a two step hull and what HP are you running ?
What kind of Speed are you geting ?
I have a 25 Daytona 2 step about 850hp(not sure) ran 108 at about 5800 to 6000rpm with a 28p prop still had some throttle left(not much). 2 pepole in the boat and 1/3 tank of gas.
Just trying to see how this compares to other Daytona's
thanks

Hey Riverliver, saw your boat pictures in the readers ride section-we have the same graphics, mine are blue. I talked to Gary last night about your boat, it looked like in the photos you had the IMCO shorty. Nice lookin boat- are you going to be at the regatta? I'd like to see it in person.

No im not able to go to the regatta, Mothers day you know.
we were at parker last weekend had a great time, weather was just right.
May be a little windy for the regatta i hear.
As for the outdrive, it is a standard not a shortie, Fred at IMCO said to run the standard with the X demision i have.
Gary is a great guy, he did a really nice job on my boat!!!
If you ever come down to parker stop by and say Hi, like to see your boat.

Where is your X dimension? My outdrive is right up against the rub rail. Do you have the IMCO gears ? Gary said my boat was there when yours was, did ya see it? I would love to come to the river sometime. If you ever come to Mead, let's hook up!!

Yes i think i saw your boat it was next to mine when i was there to pick it up, do you have a blower on it ?
My X demension is set all the way to the rub rail as yours is.
What year is your Daytona ?

Mine is a 2000. I don't have a blower yet, it's got one of Gary's 540's with a newly installed solid roller cam. Sounds really angry! I hope to do the blower and drive this winter if all comes together.

It has about 675 HP, and with this prop I get about 92. With a little prop rework I' hoping for more, we'll see this weekend!
Thanks for the compliments!!

Hey DMB, we only saw you going by a couple times this weekend, never saw you sitting still. I'm sure you were busy with the Regatta, looked like a big turnout. Saw you make one pretty hot pass in front of the SandBar Sat. Your Daytona looks and sounds very tough. Thanks for your comments on the other thread, now everyone is referring to me as the arrogant bastard. (which is actually an upgrade over some of the names)

Thanks XTRM 22, I was kickin it on the back side for a while, I'm sorry we did not hook up.
Yep,I gave that old sauceless spaghetti, witch swarming lump o Shit cockroach delaminator a kick in the ass on the way out.
By the way, you had the best attitude through the whole thread.
riverliver, single step and around a 1000 HP.The fastest speed on GPS was 124.7 with a 1.30 ratio and a 30 pitch prop. I couldn't tell ya what the RPMs were I was to busy trying to read the water ( no recall on the tach )
Right now I've got a couple bugs to work out with the motor.Once I do that I'm going to run for top end #s again.
P.S. I believe you spelled hual (hull) wrong, I don't care, but Charley is very adamant about us Eliminator owners and the correct spelling of words.

Hey Charley, I admired your boat everytime you went by me. I do admit though I appreciate it when you slow down to 60mph and let me get even then even pull away as I attain the phenomenol 65mph, before you smoke me. Ha Ha HA
