Yea... This one will have to be in the 1k-1500 range.. The ones I really like are 3500 for Agatech

I used to sell Topcon in a past life and they were up on top of the heap when it came to the self-leveling lasers. Are you going to be running it with a grade rod or??? I still talk to the people I used to work for from time to time and can get you a price. ;)

We just had the Hilti rep here last week and they have a new one that was pretty nice. Check out the PR25 and PR25-IF

Yeah, you can do total machine control fed off a laser, and now they have GPS where the elevations of the job are already fed into the system so all you have to do is drive around and the machine will cut the target grade. Pretty cool stuff. ;)
I just wondered what you were doing with it, like shooting a grade and then setting up the skimmer so you're cleaning at a consistant 4' depth. :D :D :D
