How's it going, our names are Bob, Cynthia, and Christopher. We are newbies to the board, though we have been river guru's for over 10 years. Here's a pic of our ride... web page (http://bcdist.com/users/tmp/rvrkaos.jpg) http://bcdist.com/users/tmp/rvrkaos.jpg

Welcome to the board...nice boat, and there are a number of other Cheetah owners on the board. I grew up in La Puente...you live right next to my old hood.

Hows it going,
We boat on the Parker strip on the most part. The bars rock in the evening, and the moovalya keys is the sh@t to spend the weekend. Peace and quiet, look out your living room window and see a bitchin boat cruising by, and hearing the V-8's rumble by keeps the blood running! Often though, we make trips to Havasu, can't give that up for a second! We used to hit mohave allot, but the drive is much longer than parker, and havasu too. Plus, the gambling cost me plenty, can't stay away when you have to walk through the casino to get to the rig... smile_sp

Guess we will see you at the river...we have a place in Parker and do most of our boating there...sometimes we go up to Havasu, but Parker and the Floating Bars...pretty much puts it at the top of the list..Next trip is next weekend...then the 15th for Spring Break...the boat is ready, and the wife is ready...bring on the sun.

Welcome nice looking ride wink What do you have for power?

rvrkaosI

RVRKAOS is powered with a 454mpi. Our top end is 60mph. I'm looking for more power, but then again, who isn't after you log on hours. The hull is looking for more pig_flyi , I can feel it, though the wife thinks the boat goes fast enough. Teague recommended imco exhaust, may get me between 4mph and 6mph, but then again another 1800.00. jawdrop 24rod, what is you top end on your cheetah, and how does the hull react to the power?

Rvrkaos, Our boat ran 81mph with a 28 pitch bravo 4 blade. The hull likes the power it can handle it.

Anyone know what the fastest Cheetah is? I think Doghouse has a friend that is running a 23', but I forget how fast it is.
Hey 24ROD, was 81 on the speedo. That's a good speed for your setup. I would say the Cheetah hull was pretty efficient for that speed.

Welcome, always good to have another Cheeter on board, and a sharp one at that! Go ahead and throw power at it, as much as you like. I ran a 760+hp naturally aspirated motor in my 23 last year. With a 26p prop it would accelerate like a rocket and still run low 90s. My friend runs over 1100hp in his 23... Not sure exactly how fast it is but suffice it to say that it's faster than mine!

Hows it going Cole,
The Cheetah 24' is a great boat. I used to have a 21lx ultra, though sold it for something bigger. The Stiletto Tunnel hull is solid with no complaints. The boat wants more though, the 454 trimmed all the way out, hammer to the floor, and at 60, she is looking for more. One time I saw a guy with a red 24' Cheetah, blower motor coming out of the hatch, estimated speed around 70, and he was just cruising. Speed cost money, and I'm working on a possible teague motor in the near future.
Location of Cheetah: Dory at Cheetah in upland is a great guy. He will work with you, no preassure of buying and ask any questions you have. Cheetah Bob is in lake havasu on mucoullouch blvd (excuse the spelling). The shop is not something impressive, but he has boats for you to look at, well customers that is. Check them out, or check their website out.
