Look, my problem is, I spent a number of hours tracking down parts for THIS BOAT, (trying to save you money, or I could buy all NEW stuff and bend you over) only to find out that you are SELLING THIS BOAT. You need to ask around for the prices guys have paid for competent V-drive work. Every shop that 'spams here' needs to support their overhead. I offered to rebuild and set up your boat for next to nothing. Because I know your personal position. It's OK, my normal price is $7500.00 for the labor, plus parts. If I do ALL OF THE WORK, I guaranty the boat will run the number. The motor work is additional and will probably be around $850.00 labor plus parts. (I've done at least 100 PFM/Banks systems over the last 30+ years) I told you the entire job would be under $10K, it ain't now! It's more like $19.5K, because that's what it would cost for ANY KNOWLEDGEABLE SHOP to do the work. The people that spoke to you are constantly protecting me. I have a great number of people trying to get me to work on their boats, motors, drives, V-drives, blowers, EFI's, and the like. I don't have time to work on every boat that needs work, and frankly, I don't want to work on them all. I did get time with my wife this weekend and we tried to relax. (thank you) I'm sorry you could not get your project in order. I've taken on two motor jobs over the weekend, so I'm booked up until August.
