Pyle stereos any good?

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried using Pyle marine stereo equipment in their boat? Also I have a pontoon boat, how important is it to use marine grade stereo equipment? Thanks.

The name says it all. If the stereo is covered and in a place that is hard for it to get wet, then I would not go out and buy a marine stereo.
