CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??
Yeah of course we are all biased, but can't we joke every once and a while?? I was totally cool with HTMs till I was bashed on by an HTM guy for having outboards on my Mach26...What's up with that? Also can anybody help me calculate the slip for my boat...I'm running 1.62 gears, 34 pitch props, @105.6 mph GPS. Is this about right for this hull? I called Dave and he is certain which props to run...Anybody sure about that?? I have to sets now but maybe I need a third set? All help is wanted
Thanks

Yeah man I agree with u. We should be able to go to Havasu and just have a good time. But people do have different opinions so shit happens. As far as calculating the slip of your boat????????

Stop your whinning, you got a DCB damn it, your not allowed to whine. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif
Try www.boatpropellers.com (http://www.boatpropellers.com) and click on thier speed calculator.
Rpms is a needed item.
If your running on the limiter, 6200 rpms, I have you at very close to 14% slip.
What props are you running?

Those are the props for the big numbers, but I have heard of some others having very good success with choppers with all the cup removed.
Kevin at R&R might have some other sets you could try before you buy, also takes trades.

Lakeland Marine usually has a sets also, they will also let you try before you buy.

You may not find a faster set, don't spend your money unless you are improving performance.

Those are good speed numbers for 300's. Like I stated before my Mach 26 with 2.5's ran a best of 106, so if you are getting close to that with 300's that seems very good.
I was running both 15x30 lightning et's and merc 3 blade 15x30 lab cleavers. The cleavers seemed to work the best and gave me the best top end numbers. The lightning et's accelerated a little harder off the bottom but the boat would only run about 95 mph top end.
I have seen some 4 blade cleavers on some of the new mach's with outboards, and was told they work very well. You might want to ask Dave about these if you are running 3 blades now.
