Everybody report how was memorial weekend at the Colorodo river

I couldn't make it Momma and I had alot of work to do around the house but I'm ready for the next big event.

Windy, big boats, rough water, and too much lake lice.

Upper blythe was insane as usual. Saw all the usual suspects at the Aha and Lost Lake sandbars, we met some new people that were super cool too. Lunch at Hidden Valley every day, good carne as usual.Had some Wind on Sat. but it didnt keep us off the water. The belly flop contest off the roof of the pontoon boats at Lost lake was sick,the upper sandbar was complete mayhem, lots of action. We saw some new nice hotrods and a few others who stepped it up for the 06' season.The Cp crew laid down some nice passes at Aha, heard there was some racing at Lost Lake too.Big brush fires broke out around Twin Palms, both sides of the river were full blown fires from Sat. night through today. On sunday morning there were small fires burning on the beaches on both sides of the river on our way up to Aha,crazy!!!
Its going to be a sick summer. Hoping to go back either in 2 weeks or we might wait for the Fathers Day bash at Big River.
How was everyone else's trip?

We tried Lost Lake but were told that there were no tent camp sites. We ended up @ Parker. Drove down to Big river but water was a bit rough there as well.
Hey Chris, I kept an eye out for you when we were @ lost lake. Didn't see yah. We came back on Sunday night. Funny thing is, on my way to Palm Springs this morning I saw you heading west on 10 near Morongo Casino @ about 10:30. The boat kinda caught my eye. :cool:

We took the boat up to Lost Lake yesterday, the rest of the weekend we were between Ranchos and Water Wheel..The drive up to Lost Lake was pretty long from Aha.My ears are still ringing, no joke. :220v:

I just got home from blythe. Good weekend down south. Tired. Cruisin to bed.

i was at just a littlesouth of wheel er in good times little carb problem got it handled though. no action just racing myself.cs i can definately say ears are ringing also the drive from there to lost lakeisbitchen just a little loud for sure but good times as usual plus i think we slept only 8 hrs in a three day period!

Plain and simple that was the worst water conditions I have EVER dropped my boat in and will NEVER do that again,well on a weekend like that at least.It was like a damn white water rafting scene.Spent all weekend on the the shore as the waters were just fukkin nuts.That was the most driving I think ive done in a such a short period of time as well.And alot of stories to go along with itBut im to damn tired to get into them at this time.....1400+ miles on the ticker :mad: and only had 20 mins on the river......Ended up at Mcclure lake in Norcal and had a great time :cool:

Was pretty much blown out on the parker strip, plus i think there trying to see who can fit the bigest boat on that section of water. had 1 vdrive wanted to run but never got the chance, there always next time, see everybody on fathersday at big river!

The weather in Needles was shitty Friday and Sat BUT killer on Sunday and Monday. Had a great time. Thanks to Holinhal and Bobbi for going with us. Met some new peeps from here will write more later. Budlight and
Mrs. Wicked PS. Wicked " Bitchslapped" performed flawless all weekend, took the rough water and kept on ticking!!!!!

Sounds like all you cats had a good time. Fires, belly flops, beer... What more could you ask for. I missed out last weekend but RCB is ready to get it on. 2 weeks out or Fathers Day I'm down. Moved all weekend and that sucked ass. Ya Cs gotta quit havin Power Tours at my house. The neighbors just don't quite understand the dynamic. :220v: LOL

Red Rock had Lots of wind and too many boats that belong in the ocean, other than that it was great. Sunday it calmed down early enough to get some good runs in.
