Just pulled my heads off today. I believe these head gaskets look ok. Doesn't appear to have any leaks to me. However, im a rookie so i wanted others input. Do these look ok. Not alot of time on them. This is the right side gasket, have not pulled the left one yet. I was thinking about going back with a set of cometic's but since these look ok, i dont see a need for cometics.

I see some blue on them are they Fel-Pro's???.. If they come off clean with no rips on them just "clean" them up and they'll work fine, from the looks of your pistons you don't have much compression anyways so your good to go. I've reused them twice with 12.5 compression with no problems!..

What was your reason for pulling the heads? With your compression your running felpro gaskets are fine. You would only be wasting your money on the cometics unless you are going to add alot of boost.

Unless you are really trying to harness some serious pressure, there is no reason to use cometics. Also, we have seen some very small trouble with cometics in a really long running engine having problems with water sealing. Especially when the water system is seeing higher pressures than the standard race set-ups.
Not often, but have seen a few small cases. So if you do not need to seal huge compression, stay with the fel-pro deal.
