I'm taking a serious look at this boat to purchase. I/O 500hp. Any one rode in one? If so hows the ride in the chop? THX

***boat said it was a unanimous test team favorite.Last time ***boat tested it they put more gas in it and brought it back late.

I've never ridden in any of their I/O's but have in a few of their 20' OBs. The smoothest boat I've ever ridden in. Espcially in chop. If or when I get sick of jets, Stoker will be my first choice.

I picked up my 224 HP500 EFI from Al a few months ago after going for test rides in all the competition. I couldn,t be happier: 100mph gps, turns on a dime. rigging is flawless! rides like a dream This is my second boat from Al Stoker. At John's Custom Marine it is a pleasure to do business, their boats perform ,No B.S. Give Al a call @ (714) 827-7920 I am sure he will take you for a test ride. Tell him Steve sent ya.

Steve you talked me into it. I'm going in for financing. I need to know a close figure. If you don't mind, how much did your boat cost?

Stoked,
How my free-board does that boat have?
Stable in rough water?
I love the looks but it seems like it sits a little low in the water. Is this true?

The Stoker 224 cost me 70K and change, however the boat and trailer have the best of everything. I was included in every decion throughout the project. I will post some pics hopefully the week, I lent them out and you know how that goes. Hot Boat Mag did a tunnel boat shootout back in May and Al took my boat. My family and myself got to tag along and it was the experiance of a lifetime, the crew a HB made us comfortable from the getgo, they are a terific group of "down to earth people". I can't wait to see the boat in the mag! The Stoker 224 is a bit pricey but how many boats @ 22' with stock power can be used as a great family boat and run through weekend chop at 80 with 20 mph to spare? Sorry for the long post. Steve
