brought me a plasma TV for being such a good boy, its in the bedroom and the damn fan is driving me nuts. I have to unplug it at night before bed, any help on this short of putting it somewhere else?

Wow... I have a 32" plasma in my Bedroom and have no audible fan noise...
You may want to have someone come out and look at it...
OR you could send it to Ziggy, his tv pops, bangs, then sputters before the picture finally comes online..lol

In a cabinet or on a wall? A cabinet will cause the sound to be louder...
After the tv shuts down a fan usually cycles, but it should shut down after the tv cools...
My tv probably runs cooler since it's only a freshman league baller 32" tv :D
