How did you get through the porpoise and at what speed did you get it?

The boat would develop a slight porpoise(actually it was more of a bobbing) around 75. It was certainly not a major bounce at all but I thought it could be eliminated. I was shown that trimming the boat out even further then I was used to(but not too much more) was the trick. I was always told not to over-trim a stepped bottom hull so it seems that I was too conservative.

It's time for me to move on to a little different style of boat as my grandkids are now into the boating stage(Yes, I am a senior citizen). A deck boat is a little more family friendly- easier ingress, egress, and more seating for all the extended family members. I truly love the 2750 but, times and circumstances change, so, thats why the boat is for sale and a deck boat is in my future. Besides, my wife said I should slow down when the kiddies are on board and it will be easier to run slower in a deck boat, maybe.
Thanks,
Tom

did you have any audio work done to it at Audio Toyz on Oso and Antonio? The boat looks familiar...

No. The audio work was done by Creator here on ***boat Forums. The boat was on the cover of ***boat Mag back in Jan '03, maybe you saw it there. It lives near the city of Orange but has never been down south in the Irvine, laguna niguel area.

Anyone? Make me an offer. A new one with all this equipment would sell for $130-140K per Kevin @Lavey. It needs to be sold.

Why do you ask...actually going to buy a boat? Start small...maybe a Sevylor.

Nope, no Howard, had a 21 Lavey prior to the 2750, and a Hallett Vector before that, and an Eliminator before that.
I see we are neighbors, I live in VP.

With a 42' Outerlimits, it's more about style and comfort when out in the big stuff.

I sure can't argue about that- a 42' Outerlimits is awesome-$$$$$$$$.
